  1. 1974 Datsun 620PL pick-up, 1850 c.c. automatic with canopy w/shelves and roof racks, mounted spare, already to go, engine head machine work is done, just reassemble with the included gaskets, under winter cover, tools, manuals, receipts, and a windshield. Lots of parts to fit 1973 to 1979 620PL trucks or Datsun 510’s including a 2000 engine block, three standard transmissions, many carburetors, starter motors, distributors, alternators, braking systems including drums, nuts, bolts, screws, fasteners, control cables, engine and trans mounts, hub caps, 1 checker plate steel back bumper. In a 8’L x 8’W x 8’H shed, 20 -1’ cubic bins, 1 window, fiberglass roof metal available to reroof, insulated floor and walls, outdoor shelves front and back $975 complete. Or truck and parts alone $595. Or shed alone $395 Must be paid for and removal by October 31 or they are off to scrap... I've sold the Vanguard - Datsun 620 Pl Motorhome to Grahem from Duncan, BC, he and some friends picked it up yesterday, Monday, October 10. The '73 is also gone. 2. Hi Eugene from Nanaimo...About breaking my "collection". My cheapest unit would be the '74 620 with automatic trans. at $975 CDN, although I have spare std. trans if that's what you like. I have no frame w/o body, and because of the unibody rust out problems in 510's I began to do 620's with their frame. And at that you've got to be careful as the RCMP USED to be on the lookout for it, as the truck frame is subject to rusting. Call me? 250 245-3197 Regards, Chris PS. Also got Webber carbs (3) that will adapt to these 620's instead of the stock Hitachi...they came off of 1.6 L Chevy Chevette that I drove from 2002 to 2010 and parts I got from Pt. Alberni. I'm also advertising an engine that would probably work well with a 620, don't know much about that except Chevette's were rear wheel drive also. Have a friend in Powell River who also has Chevette trans...and probably some Webbers.
  3. I hope it's ok to keep y'all updated on my need to sell this collection. Apparently, there isn't the interest, as yet, in the collection, but I'm getting questions about separating them out. So here is the scoop for all. To eugene.wilson@gmail.com Hi Eugene, have you looked at the pictures I've posted on Facebook? I have had the machine shop in Nanaimo true the head, have a new cyl. head gasket, but have not got the engine reassembled, so it hasn't run since 1998. Last I looked, the frame was ok, but there is some rust in the cab and box. This 1974 has an 1850 cc engine with the automatic trans. and a camperette with a rubber floor and shelves full of parts, Without the parts, $975 CDN, with the parts, (including a windshield) $1, 895 FOB Ladysmith, B.C. Also has a tarp cover built over all. Will need a trailer, flatdeck or tow truck to take it away. Regards, Chris Date: Wed, 21 Sep 2011 18:33:10 -0700 Subject: datsun 620 From: eugene.wilson@gmail.com To: aDIYguy@hotmail.com I am interested in any single one of your datsun PL620 trucks the automatic being of primary interest
  4. Hi Grahem, Good that you saw it here, I had lost ur phone number. Good that we've talked, since I bought the M/H, I was able to "relocate" the two front rims and matching tires that were stolen when John had it parked by the Ladysmith Marina (heheh, scouting around I found a wrecked Datsun in the Annex A/P with the EXACT rims and tires that were missing! So I had to buy them back from them..). As mentioned, when I phoned u today, I have a spare 2,000 cc engine and four speed that you indicated you don't need. So separating my "collection" like this, I wanted $1,395 for the M/H, engine and trans, but as you already have engine and trans, I'm willing to decrease price by scrap of engine and trans, so $1,250 CDN, FOB Thomas Road, Ladysmith takes it away... Regards, Chris. P.S. I've got to move from here, no later than Oct. 31, so I need this "stuff" to go away by then. Oh yeah, I've got a good 620 windshield in a wooden crate I built. Anyone know what I should sell that for?
