Hey guys. I have a 1971 datsun 510 2 door. And my project car is missing the tail light sockets/ harnesses. i was wondering if the Sockets from a datsun 79-80 or 81-83.ZX OR S30 Z cars sockets fit the 510 bulb buckets. i was planing to buy from zDepot but not sure which sockets fit. Im running all new wiring in the car just save some time and buy these and using the bulb socket sides to save some time and soldering individusl SMP ones. I just want to know which of these are the same bulb Sockets. thank you.

HEY GUYS AND GALS, WELL, MY REAR WHEEL BEARINGS WERE WOBBLING AND I THOUGHT HEY, LET'S REPLACE THE WHEEL BEARINGS IN THE REAR OF THE 1971 510! SO I CAREFULLY DREMEL AND GRIND AND CHIPPED AWAY AT THE REAR STUB AXLE NUT AND DID MY BEST, STILL MANAGED TO DAMAGED THE STUB AXLE. AND PROBABLY WILL DAMAGE THE OTHER SIDE TRYING TO TAKE IF OFF..............SO WHAT DO I DO? 1. DO THEY MAKE NEW 510 STUB WHEEL HUB AXLES? 2. WHAT'S THE DIE SIZE IF THIS CAN BE TAP/DIE ? ANYONE HAVE A PAIR FOR SALE THAT IS NOT DAMAGED LIKE MINE? 😃

THE HEIGHT OF THE TUBES IS WHAT BOTHERS ME. ALL OTHER DIMENSIONS SEEM TO BE THE SAME. SAME CALIPERS (510 CALIPERS) SAME HUBS SAME ROTORS SAME BACKING PLATE SAME SPRINGS SAME TOP HATS. IM NOT SURE IF THESE CAME ON THE CAR BUT CAME ON THE CAR WHEN I GOT THEM.

HEY GUYS, I HAVE A 1971 DATSUN 510 2 DOOR AND I JUST TOOK APART THE FRONT STRUT TO CLEAN AND LIKELY SEND IT IN TO HAVE COILOVER SYSTEM WELDED ON, BUT I NOTICED THAT ONE STRUT IS SHORTER THAN THE OTHER. IS THIS NORMAL , OR DID PREVIOUS OWNER THREW ON 280ZX/ 200ZX STRUTS?? ALSO THE STRUT NUTS ARE DIFFERENT TOO. =? THE STOCK 510 CALIPERS / SPRINGS/ TOP HATES / ROTORS / HUBS WERE ON THE STRUT AND IDENTICAL. BUT THE HOUSING ONE IS SHORTER THAN THE OTHER. I'VE NEVER DONE THIS SO NOT SURE IF THIS IS HOW IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE?
