  1. I doubt this is anyone's here because it is always parked in the same spot. I think it may be non-op because it doesn't have a front plate. I'm about ready to knock on the door and ask some questions about it. I think I noticed a bumper guard on it that I would like for my truck. Oh, this is in Auburn, Ca.
  2. Since everyone seems so interested... how about 30 bucks? Or best offer?
  3. Thanks! I have no idea how old cars and trucks even lasted this long with all the rust you guys have to deal with over there.
  4. P.s. they're in Auburn, CA and I live in Sacramento so I can bring them to you anywhere in between. Also, I'll be at the Sacramento Datsun meeting this Friday if you want me to bring them out.
  5. I believe these were originally off of a toyota truck. The previous owner put these on my 78 620. The tires are 235/75R15 and they fit well and only slightly rub if you're trying to do a u-turn in a two lane street. Three tires are in ok shape and one is toast. they're just spray painted flat black. I'm asking 50 bucks for everything or if you have something cool to trade I'm interested. Thanks for looking.
  6. Fixed a crack in the windshield and tried to change out the spark plug wires but the partswoman sold me the wrong cables. I have to take them back and try again. Oh well.

    hello

I love that yellow color! Mine was originally that color. Very cool truck.
  8. My 620 is my daily driver. I usually round trip it 20 to 80 miles for work. I don't have another option since it's my only automobile. It gets about 22 mpg but I bet I'll get more once I figure out where/if it is leaking gas. Haha
  9. Yeah, I was SUPER stoked on a dash with no cracks and now I'm trying to decide what I want to do about it, cover it and protect it or show it off and risk future cracking. The clock is cool but it is stuck on 4:20 (prank?). The compressor for the A/C is frozen but I'm used to no A/C so I'm probably not going to be tackling for that a while. And yes, it has the five speed, which is awesome.
  10. I give up on this oic. First it disappears on me and then it rotates. Oh well.
  11. This was supposed to be the other interior oic.

    The Radson 620

This is my '78 620 that I bought about a month ago. The guy I bought it from had it for about two weeks before he decided he needed to get a van instead. He got it from his neighbor who was the original owner and, in typical awesome old dude fashion, had kept all the paperwork. It has 78,000 original miles, backed up by the paperwork, and is in great shape. The guy I bought it from put some silly wheels on it (oics later), the massive rearview mirror, and that SICK paintjob complete with rampant overspray. So far I've changed out the belts and hoses due to cracking, put on the original rims and picked up some dentless hubcaps, replaced the window squeegee things, installed a cd player and a new set of front speakers, and picked up a higher amp alternator that I have yet to install. It runs great but the carb kind of acts weird until it warms up, then it's great. Now I shall unleash the OICS!! The Interior The wheels that came on it Hope this was a proper introduction. I really dig these forums and I don't want to make any more faux paus.
  13. ALRIGHT! Doooooood. I'll get on it tomorrow. By sundown there will be some oics of the truck. I was going to wait until I fix the paint a little but I'll get them up tomorrow. Promise.
  14. I bought my Datsun truck a few weeks ago and it's loaded with "character." I noticed the horn didn't work within a day or two of buying it but didn't bother trying to figure out why until last week. I popped open the hood and the horn was just disconnected so I hooked them both up, felt a sense of accomplishment, and called it a day while I was batting a thousand. Then two days ago I was driving and I hit a largeish bump at about 55 mph and the horn started firing off in long blasts and continued to do so for about a minute or so. Then it just abruptly ended while I was rolling with laughter and everyone around me glared at me. That's when I figured out why my Datsun feels so right, because it's a total jerk. Just like me when I try my hardest to embarass my friends and family in public.
