  1. they do have mufler bearrings i ordered 3 sets of them
  2. if you read the text above the chart it states "California, the birthplace of hot rodding, has 2,775,004 registered automobiles from model years 1871 through 1972. This represents 5.99% of the total number of registered vehicles in the state" which sounds a little more realistic i think that the 43% was a typo as far as hot rodding in cali it depends on what county you live in, where i live you only smog at change of ownership and then not if it is transfered between family, however most areas are bianual
  3. http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=index i was glad to finally find a company that sold blinker fluid... now if i could only find the blinker fluid resrivoir
  4. true a hydro booster that runs off the power stearing is used on most newer "heavy duty" full size pickups the disadvantage of this setup is that it makes them hard to steer in tight places like parking lots, however could be overcame by bigger ps pump and may not even be a prob in something as light as a 620 also provides more braking power than vacuum another option is a big bore racing master cylinder and no booster however this can be expensive (as if hydro boost isn't)
  5. heres a link to a post about the sc ka in a 720 he has some pics as well http://groups.msn.com/NissanDatsun720PickupOwners/engineswapping.msnw?action=get_message&mview=0&ID_Message=20373&LastModified=4675608106590384937
  6. if your doing this to fit a turbo have you considered other options, i know of a guy who is putting a supercharger off a v6 xtera onto his ka powered 720 partly so he don't have to remove his, also provides better mid range torque than turbo which you would appreciate if you plan on hauling or towing
  7. here is a link to some more ka swap info for those interested http://groups.msn.com/NissanDatsun720PickupOwners/general.msnw?action=get_message&mview=0&ID_Message=22547&LastModified=4675612277112478141&openpopup=1&posturl=general.msnw%3Faction%3Dmb_post%26mview%3D0%26ID_TopParent%3D22547%26ID_Parent%3D22547&pps=k also icehouse did you do that wiring writeup you mentioned yet?
