  1. This may be old news but I had a similar problem when I got my 521. I found that the motor mounts were the problem. The engine had dropped and was causing all kinds of vibration. I found the motor mounts at Pep Boys. I checked everywhere for them. Still looking for a new transmission mount. Huge difference in the engine noise and clearance of the rod.
  2. I found the rear mount at the Nissan dealer for $83. The last one in the country. Does anyone have the fronts they would sell or know of a subsitute? Pep Boys got them from Beck/Arnley #104-0827. $22 It runs like a new truck now.

    Steering Wheel

Thanks for the reply. I called Grant regarding the adapter 4591 mentioned in the thread by my post. They confirmed it worked on about 10 years of models 65-75. They are only $25.

    Steering Wheel

Has anyone replace their steering wheel with an aftermarket part? What brand, adapters etc did you use if you were successful. I thought I would try and go a couple of inches smaller for a little more leg room.
  5. I am interested. How much for the transmission?
  6. Is there any info already available that shows these mods? What is a slip yoke?
  7. I have read through many of the posts regarding swapping a 4 speed to 5 speed. Some posts say the swap is direct no change with short 200sx(78?ish) 4 speed with overdrive. I have read others that say there is a mounting plate that needs to be shortened. Can someone tell me if they did this? Thanks!
  8. I was trying to post a picture of my 521 taken at the lowest resolution on my camera 640 X 480. The system said my file was too big even though the system said it would scale the picture. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
  9. Thanks again the dash lights are now working. The circut board in the dash had started to come apart and the copper had broken on the dash light circut. I was able to glue the pieces back to the board and solder the break. I have a picture I will try and post.
  10. Thanks for all the info. I will pull it back out and let you know the results.
  11. Hi guys. I have read several posts and tried the following: Pulled and cleaned fuse holder Replaced all fuses Replaced all dash bulbs The tail lights come one when you pull the lights on to the first position. The tail lights go out when you pull the light knob all the way out. What else should I be looking for? Could it be a bad control switch for the lights? Oh yeah, the left blinker started working most of the time afte I changed the bulbs.
