  1. Wait... you're in ma?!?!? I drive my yellow 620 down that way often.
  2. Where abouts on the east coast? I brought my 620 back from ca.
  3. Japanese truck, German and Italian cars... you have the axis! Lol I have a 59 beetle and always joke that I need a vespa to round out my axis of evil. Looks good!
  4. I had my local guy do mine, did a cat delete and back with a good exhaust, all stainless for under $240
  5. If anyone is up in New England I have a dash that is in VERY good shape, practically new (one small crack that is hardly noticable) I got it from a parts truck but, lets be honest.... I havent used it in over a year, and I dont see my to do list getting any smaller for me to be able to use it.... If someone made me a good offer and was close enough to come get it I would let it go. Shipping is possible but I would think the cost would not be justifiable, unless you have DEEP pockets and can justify spending that much to pack it up and ship it. I guess the sun up here in NH is nicer to the vinyl.
  6. well thank you Mike, again your knowledge astounds me. I think I am going to hook mine back up (probably wire brush the end and blow back through it to make sure its clean first) and try running it that way. Of course my pressure regulator is between the pump and the carb, so I may just omit it for the time being. I belive that i read the pressure from a stock pump isnt that much
  7. I dont think the weber has the option for a return line, at least mine doesnt have one attached. Do you have a fuel pressure regulator attached to it? Webers like low pressure (under 3.5 psi) most of the issues that I read about on the webers are fixed with a regulator.
  8. Weber carb? I have a simmilar issue on mine which I think is due to fuel pressure
  9. Actually I found out mine does have a spacer, it was just blending in with all kinds of RTV sealer and oil and other grime
  10. hmm did the 2 remanufactured MCs do the same thing? Is this a new issue or has it been ever since you replaced the MC?

    egr light?

Sorry, thst totally probably didn't make much sense. Inhave a cali truck so I don't have the egr light, butbindid have a non cali parts truck and there was a part near the voltage regulator (if i remember correctly) thst had a count down, if I recall correctly, it was similar to like a pedometer or maybe like a tripometer...

    egr light?

Could it be the count down thing thst sets off the egr light when its time for service?
  13. Is there a NEED for this spacer? mine has been running without it for some time.
  14. Just throwing this out there too, you can get the disc brake kits for the older 620s... I have a set of the 300zx on my 77 from Beebani, and I love them. I love the fact that I can open my hood and point to anything and have a pretty good idea what it is and what it does, not to mention fit my hands in there to fix something (When the wife asks me to look at her honda fit even for a simple oil change, I cry just a little). Not to mention that when something does go wrong, its easy to diagnose and you dont have a million and one sensors that cause more problems than I think they are worth. I got my truck from Cali and I must say the frame was near mint! where as out here in New England things dont last too long with the salt and snow.
  15. good to know. When i first got the truck it had the BP6ES in it and I put the 5ES-11 in it when I changed the cap and rotor as part of my traditional new to me car once over. it seemed to have ran better with the 6ES in it (it could have been the 6ES-11, I didnt pay much attention at the time) So looks like I will put the 6ES-11 in and see how that runs. maybe I will change the cap and rotor too, cheap enough. Its been about 2 years. A while back I had a Vacuum leak on the Weber (ended up being the base plate became a little loose) well at the time I couldnt find it and ended up over compensating by running it rich. I since fixed it but I think it took a toll on the plugs anyway.
