Zoomer
Folks, is a 1960 Datsun 1200 Pickup truck real hard to find? I ask this because I have some early ford rods, and a 1960 Datsun, would seem to be something reasonably to find. Can you guys let me know, Thanks Quote Link to comment
djlotus
I'm going to go ahead and say that that is an affirmative. I'm still learning up on my datsun truck history, and I haven't seen a whole lot about these older trucks, nor have I seen more than a couple. Quote Link to comment
City Hunter
probably not as rare as teh old mitsubishi 1/2 ton 3 wheeled trucks, but yeah it's rare as hell. Quote Link to comment
LAYEDOUTB2K
those are pretty rare to find. in '63 is about when they started importing a lot more and still are quite a few left in existance. sad to say, not many parts are interchangable with the early model like your '60. im not to sure about the mechanical aspects like the brakes but as far as like the body panels and glass are different Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
In 1962, Datsun sold 258 pickups in United States. They probably sold the same or more in 1960 (Datsun sales in general were down in 1961 and 1962 compared to 1960). Quote Link to comment
CMJAnew
See my picture to the left - its a '60. Spent most of its life on an island off the coast of Maine, I bought from a guy on the coast. My hauler ran it after getting it home (I've not heard it run). I'm not a mechanic and would rather bet the ponies than pretend. Quote Link to comment
