Got turned onto a program(free) called HTTrack  https://www.httrack.com/ website copier.  Took about an hour to do my 43 page Mend thread, but it did it perfectly as far as I can tell.  All the pics for the thread are now archived on my computer.  I'll have to see if I can create a pdf or similar so that I can upload it to my site.  I've got to run for now, but it looks like the option I was looking for.  A one page thread downloaded in a min or two.

I started to wonder how complicated the new systems are, could one rooms temp effect the temps of the other rooms, meaning is there a particular room that you are not trying to cool that the system is focused on, and since you are not trying to cool that room the system thinks all is good?

AC is working the tech came out and found the harness plug to the compressor had vibrated off the compressor.  The tech is surmissing that the plug was not fully plugged in at the factory or came loose in shipping.  Does not matter to me how it got unplugged as we now have cool house again.

Cut down a Quest battery tray yesterday.   My brother Garret will spot weld it together for me so I can check fit and decide on location of brackets that I removed to cut down.

I might have to relocate the battery because the 520 engine compartment is so short.

My brother Garret welded my battery boxback together this morning.  I will decide on which and where the relay fuse Brackets need to be and I will have him weld these on.  LIttle by little.

I tried using Imgur but Firefox does not play well with Imgur.  Still looking.  Do not have cash write now for website.

I will schedule my hand surgery this week hoefully that will be real soon so I can get my left shoulder surgery done.

Hey Charlie, what I did to make room for my battery in my 521 diesel was I cut the inner fender well level with the battery tray base towards the outside fender likely 4 inches, since I have not lowered the truck it made no difference on tire clearance.

I then welded in a new piece of metal(triangle) on the firewall end, the other end has the canister type air filter housing welded into the inner fender also, you can see I don't have a lot of room for anything in this engine compartment.

Thanks Wayno.  I am running Beltech lowered spindles on my 520 plus a tortion bar reindex.   With the short J13 engine compartment it will be tight after the AC dryer is mounted between the fire wall and the battery.  I will take some pictures tonight after I set the shortened battery box in place.

Hobo I plan to redo pictures in this and my 86 and my 85 threads.  I will also redo picture in my how to threads if they are still editable.

Wayno is there a build thread for the diesel upgrade on your work truck?

That's my 1969 Datsun 521 kingcab diesel with the stepside box, I put a turbocharger on it recently and it ran great, now it is losing power at freeway speeds, not really to bad on side streets, thought I had it fixed, now it's bad again.

I have changed just about everything except the head gasket and injection pump itself, I have been trying to fix it since just before Canby with no joy so far.

I went back to see how much room you have in that area, and all your photos are gone, even the first ones originally hosted by someone other than PB.

I was wondering how much room you have back by the firewall over the starter, but I just now remembered you have or will have air-conditioning & heating lines in that area, so that kinda gets in the way if the lines are high on the firewall, that area is where all the extra room is on these trucks(520/521/620), but you have a custom setup in there as I recall.

I am having a 219 head rebuilt right now, I am going to remove the W53 head with the RV cam, it is a dog off the line(has no torque) unless I rev it up and I don't drive like that, so that SSS head with a stock cam should fix the issue, I already have the ARP stud kit, just waiting for the head to be done.

I figured out how I am going to adjust the rear windows now, I tried electric and roll up and down and neither would work, so I am going to do it the way I did the 320. The holes are where I tried the roll up mechanism that didn't work, I will fill the holes eventually.

Nice work Wayno, very simple window system.

I am curious as to why the power window mechanisms would not work.

You are correct on the AC and heater hoses in the firewall area   I will also have a 620 windshield washer bottle mounted on the firewall like the 620's have.

I had my brother weld a modified bracket back on the side of the Nissan Quest battery box.

Soon as I figure out a photo host I will post some pictures.

I uploaded 763 pictures to Imgur yeterday and when I was done uploading I had over 2300 photos in Imgur.  Some reason I had 3 of everything so I deleted my imgur account.

I miss how easy it was to organize my picture files on PhotoBucket.  I might have to bite the bullet and do a website to host my own pictures.
