Love the puppy.  I've owned two English Bulldogs and just waiting until I get my wagon home to get another.  I really miss having a dog around.

And take it easy Bro!  Even though I could have gotten back to work sooner after my surgery, I took an extra few weeks off just to make sure I was feeling up to it.  I hope they take care of you, and you come back better than before.

Things happened today in a good way.

Shawn came over and installed the torsion bars and adjusted them. He torqued and cotter pinned all the front end parts for me.  He sat it on the ground to check the heighth of the truck and al though I want it lower it is a good start.

He also primed and painted the gas tank.  If he can he will come back next weekend and install the tank and the make up and install fuel lines.  He is trying to have my 520 driveable in a couple months.

The hold up for this schedule on my part will be cash.  I need to get some things up for sale and sold to fund the progress.

Something I picked up free.  Shawn will modify it to fit my 520.

Shawn's truck received some love also.  OEM NOS Nissan back glass and new rubber seal.  I also hooked him up with a repalcement speedo, a better set of 720 oil pressure and volt  gages, and a 720 1 piece drive line.

Installed gas tank and rear brake hardline.  No pictures.  It took me all afternoon to get the tank in.  Had to go buy the bolts to mount the tank and the tank brackets.  There a 4 captured nuts in hard to reach areas on the 520/521 beds.  3 of mine are missing.

Cleaned part of the garage today. Gene came by and helped before he went to work.  Plan on cleaning the rest of the garge tomorrow and then yard work after that.

Oh and play with the puppy!
