Ya man, how much is it just to prime the car? I think i want to do that untill i can get it painted

I think I looked at your car a few months ago before you bought it. The paint looks like it is in decent shape, and while it may not be shiny or pretty you will probably be better off just leaving it alone instead of primering it. Save the money you would put towards primer and use it for a good paint job. Looks like a solid car!

i had the 15in snowflakes ready and some guy gave my bro these tires, almost brand new BFG all season tires (off his truck). so i said fuck, thell fit, ill give you $50 for them. so i got near new tires for $50 and just rolled the rear fenders, thats kinda ratsun if i do say so myself lol:fu:

Yeah i'm thinking I want to do springs first, that or do some interior work...., i am definanlty in need of a carpet kit for the back. I really want to do that l28et swap soon but my dad is not so happy about it, he already thinks the car is too fast for me (which is a bunch of bs). I would like to rattle can it but I don't think it would turn out that great with the blue.

thats a good place to start IMO, take the time to get to know your car like the back of your hand and learn to really drive it, then start cramming the HP in :D

a rattle can job can turn out nice if you take the time to prep it well enough. and really it dosent take that much to get a 5ft paint job, i did mine in one night

How do you prep it? I got a few rust spots too that I need to take care of. Yeah I need to get used to my car more too. This is my first RWD car, I got down the whole FWD thing real quick, its not that hard really. One of the reasons i really wanted a datsun was because of RWD. Lot more tricks u can do.

then deff. take the time to really get to know your car, on the road, and under the hood. itl pay off.

once your rust is taken care of what i did was just sand the whole thing with 400 grit sand paper, masked everything and ten sprayed it. but spraying is the hard part, not getting tiger stripes and runs can be difficult if you dont have a fair amount of experience doing it.
