Subaru rear end

I found a BRAT in the junkyard is the rear in it worht anything? This guy has lots of Subaru's what should I look for? Years? Type? Only 4-wheels drive models?

Did it have the jump seat in the back?

go around to the Subarus and turn the back wheels (if the car is off the ground) to see if an LSD was put in. I doubt a Brat would have one. I think Icehouse said it was an option starting in the late 80's in some AWD wagons but people did swap diffs around.

the early ones work just maybe a higher gear ratio.Most are open diffs(one wheel spins the oppisite way)

but the LSD ones should have a sticker on there LSD FUJI 3.70(both wheels spin the same way)

Ok so not all are LSD and if it is there will be a sticker. Will the sticker always be in one place? On the cover? right or left side nose? any pictures of this sticker?

 

This guy has about 50 subaru's sitting around. THe Brat was the only one i saw that I know is all wheel drive.

Will they turn the same direction.. instead of the opposite direction??
