Stoffregen Motorsports
Squeaks, rattles and clunks. Those are my favorite things - to get rid of. After a complete build on an old vehicle, the best thing you don't have to hear are the squeaks, rattles and clunks. 2 Quote Link to comment
Farmer
Im still far from getting the clunks out. Front Passenger side shock is complete blown. Metal to metal 2 Quote Link to comment
Ben_upde
Just picked these up for my ‘79 KC 620. 15x7 up front and 15x10 rears. What size tire do you have on the back? Hows the fitment? Does it look like anything had to be clearenced to fit? 2 Quote Link to comment

Stoffregen Motorsports
Sheetmetal mods are so much fun. Nothing cooler than a mod that's so clean that nobody notices. 1 Quote Link to comment
Farmer
Replaced front shocks. Got a little more travel but can tell the torsion bars equally adjusted. And since Im driving it more, that king pin on driver side is worse. 2 Quote Link to comment
Farmer
Took for a Cruise with the wife the evening. Way better ride. 3 Quote Link to comment
Farmer
Well, found out a few more things about this truck on the way to Blue Lake Datsun Show. It can do 75 mph with no problem, need to upgrade front brakes, need an overflow bottle for radiator and replace 19 yr old rear tires cause they developed a flat spots. 60 to 65 was terrible. But I did get these there And this Edited August 13, 2018 by Farmer 7 Quote Link to comment
AlexDeLarge
Love the truck man, killer. Would be even more bad ass with a early grill and ambers. 1 Quote Link to comment

Farmer
Went on the possible final drive before winter sets in and the brake booster went bad , then the lower door hinge broke causing paints gouging. Wonderful!! 3 Quote Link to comment

Charlie69
You can fix it. Count your blessings that the truck was not totaled in a winter storm. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
You need a hinge? I have seen new ones on Amazon. 1 Quote Link to comment

Chopper Jim
Just saw this. When I saw Funtana it was still a complete truck. Sounds like the fate of all Steroids trucks. Bought lots of 5 slots from the daughter & son. Why would you have 3 in a set ? Sorry to hear you had such a problem in Bullhead. Wish i'd known, I could have given you a hand. About 40 miles up the hill in Kingman. Chopper Jim 3 Quote Link to comment

Charlie69
Farmer what diameter is your brake booster? I have a small one approximately 4". Quote Link to comment

FYI - Been trying to buy a 4 inch booster since talking to Seeker at the JCCS and seeing one his friend's truck. It is basically unobtainium. Every order I place gets canceled - with multiple suppliers. 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
the one I have is off a 73 620 and is old and used. I have been told that a good local re builder might be able to rebuild them. Quote Link to comment
