If you don't know where the thermostat should be, you definitely don't have a manual. If no manual I wouldn't be taking anything apart to replace any gaskets. Why replace gaskets? Maybe the valve cover but unless a problem this isn't going to do anything. There's a good chance something will break doing this. The thermostat housing is a prime example of 'if it ain't broke... don't fix it.'

Do you guys have any fuckin reading comprehension whatsoever?

He wanted to know where it was so that he doesn’t have to unnecesarily replace more gaskets than need be.

T-stat is any easy replacement. Be careful removing the two bolts.

hi, before I start opening up stuff and having to force replace gaskets because doing so, anybody know where the thermostat would be located?

Maybe you can decipher this run on sentence gato.

It was pretty clear to me. There was even a comma in there, something most of you mouth breathers can't figure out.

Certainly better than Hainz.

EXCEPT- his intentions were both clear whether he was aiming for the thermostat or avoiding it.

That, you can not decipher from the diatribe he attempted.
