deans510
I need advice on what would be a good non racing, street only clutch set for a 240mm Fidanza FW I'd like to use with my newly rebuilt Rebello KA24 engine and trans. The KA24 engine and trans I'm replacing has a 225mm Fidanza FW clutch set. Dean gzentas510@outlook.com Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
A D21 Hardbody will fit and it's 240mm. So is the 280zx and 300zx. Try to find a set that includes the release bearing collar also. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Are you looking for brand recommendations? Exedy is always good. Centerforce. ACT. Even LUK makes good clutches. Spec if you have the money and a stepped flywheel. Quote Link to comment
Draker
I've installed a few luk clutches. Running one now. Not sure what would work well for your setup. Centerforce would probably be a good performace clutch. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Well he did say 'non racing' street clutch. The 280zx/300zx clutch and PP is a hell of an upgrade for the 240sx using stock parts. These are not 'one size fits all' after market parts like shock absorbers. These are what the factory made for what it was used on. If it will contain a 280zx turbo it will hold a KA. Nissan factory part pressure plate... 280zx turbo / 300zx.................... 30210-P9500 approx $90 Clutch disc.... 280zx......................................... 30100-P9511 approx $120 300zx......................................... 30100-21P00 1 Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
Do you need to use the 240mm clutch and flywheel? I've always felt that it's a bit on the overkill side. I wonder how much lighter a 225mm setup would be. 1 Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
I WOULD THINK A 225MM WITH A EXEDY STATE 1 WOULD BE ENOUGH CLAMPING impoortrp.com has these in the aftermarket section listed wit other clutchtes but I guess 240 have better grabbing surface if doing burnouts. Fidanza I assume its aluminum FW already 1 Quote Link to comment

I'm also guessing the rebuilt engine puts out at least a strong stock HP 145-150? 1 Quote Link to comment
