Hi,

Just wanted to let you know: your forum registration form uses reCAPTCHA V1 which has been shut down on 31 March 2018. I thought I will not be able to register as I've couldn't generate a code to type into the box, but then I found advice that if admins decided to make things easy for users, they might have enabled no-JavaScript reCAPTCHa, and thankfully you did. I've disabled JavaScript temporarily, clicked "Im a human" button and got a code to rewrite. However, I don't think that's how you expect your new users to register ;)

Would you mind upgrading to reCAPTCHa V2? ;)

Cheers,

Mike

We are aware. It's gonna be a bumpy ride to get this fixed.

Whenever I think that I'm out of my mind for putting this much time and money into an old Datsun, all I have to do is look some of your threads to know that I'm not nearly as whack as you are.

You're going to skin a few knuckles, stand up too fast and bump your head, hunt around the floor for the nuts and bolts you dropped, invent a few new cuss words and when you're finished you'll say "That wasn't so hard after all!"

Several other sites are having Kaptcha hickups .  They either won't accept inputs or don't even present the scrambled phrase.

You can just type trash into capcha and it will accept. At least with feedback. Not sure on registration.

Essentially captcha is forcing everyone to upgrade, which requires upgrading everything.

I'm sure everything will be fine.
