1978 King Cab Emergency Brake Cable - Long or short?

Hi,

I'm ordering new brake cables but the vendors don't give me the length to determine if need the "long bed" version or the "short bed" version.

Does anyone know which to purchase?

I tried everything to free up the old ones.  Should have just purchased new to begin with.

Anyway, any help appreciated.

Thanks!!!

They should say long or short wheelbase. The long bed and the king cab use a long wheelbase but the king cab also uses a short wheelbase box on it. As all the length difference is in the frame behind the cab where the two cables from the wheels are, I would say you need the long ones.

Maybe the Nissan part number for '78 and up will help...

To keep your hand brake working always set it when you stop. This keeps the metal parts shiny from rubbing... and just a good idea.
