Ebenezer scrooge
Where do i find a hood release cable for an lhd driven datsun. All you find on ebay is just for rhd models. 1 Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
Take your stock cable and give it to a bike or motorcycle shop and maybe they can put a new wire in there and fix it 1 Quote Link to comment
racerx
or go on Ebay. The ones from Thailand are left hand drive. 1 Quote Link to comment
Ebenezer scrooge
If you check all these cables on ebay from Thailand they are actually for RHD cars, idk why though. Quote Link to comment

racerx
If you check all these cables on ebay from Thailand they are actually for RHD cars, idk why though....u can rig it so that it will work with ours, lhd, take the old part, the one that mounts to the side of the car, drivers side, and modify it so that it can fit the new one from Thailand This is what I did. Or like others are saying, may be a bike shop. Quote Link to comment
Ebenezer scrooge
Alreadt tried that,i bought from ebay an cable to rhd driven datsun and took the cable from the handle and switched it to the lhd handle but the cable was to short. Quote Link to comment
racerx
U sure...did you route it right? Did you measure old and new side by side. Maybe I bought from a difference place in Thailand but mine fitted just right. Quote Link to comment
