Where do i find a hood release cable for an lhd driven datsun. All you find on ebay is just for rhd models. :confused:

Take your stock cable and give it to a bike or motorcycle shop and maybe they can put a new wire in there and fix it


Throw on some Weber sidedrafts, Rising Sun hood.... call it good

or go on Ebay.  The ones from Thailand are left hand drive.

If you check all these cables on ebay from Thailand they are actually for RHD cars, idk why though.

ON my 510 I toll a long fishing wire and  mad ea LOOP and put a swedge on the end and made it work. It was a temp fix but been over 10years now


Throw on some Weber sidedrafts, Rising Sun hood.... call it good

...u can rig it so that it will work with ours, lhd, take the old part, the one that mounts to the side of the car, drivers side, and modify it so that it can fit the new one from Thailand
This is what I did. Or like others are saying, may be a bike shop.

Alreadt tried that,i bought from ebay an cable to rhd driven datsun and took the cable from the handle and switched it to the lhd handle but the cable was to short.

U sure...did you route it right? Did you measure old and new side by side. Maybe I bought from a difference place in Thailand but mine fitted just right.
