Dguy210
So the verdict, osteoarthritis and scoliosis in the thoracic part of my back,........ Soo that's good.... OA of the facet joints? Talk to Mary Jane about that. CBD FTW 1 Quote Link to comment
tr8er
CBD is great. Curcumin will seriously help with inflammation and really help the joints. 4 Quote Link to comment
tdaaj
Doing the curcumin, not sure how much of the CBD is an option though. Work policies, even though it's legal here. And I'm allergic to most perscription pain killers, so, just going to deal with it. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Damn Ted, I had no idea pain was involved. I never heard anything from my brother and he had symptoms as a teenager. The rib cage on one side sticks way out while the other is in, like he turning, but his shoulders are straight. Sorry to hear this. Do what you gotta do.... Quote Link to comment

Ted, I don't know how it works up there, but here in Oregon if you can find a doctor that's not in the pocket of big pharma, you can get a prescription for medical use and employers cannot do shit about it, again, I don't know how your laws are in respect up there, people have been very relieved by rubbing cannabis oils and even injested in the form of drops under the tongue or vaping the oil, look into it, man! 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Um...any employer in Oregon does not need to allow for medical marijuana. Any employer in any state that has legal medical and/or recreational marijuana does not need to allow the use of such. As it is still a federally illegal controlled substance, many(all) employers can still restrict their employees' use of it. I would love to smoke again. Not to get stupid anymore but for pains and ailments I have...because of my job. Oi. 1 Quote Link to comment
tr8er
Ha! My hometown would be FUCT if they cared about trivial shit like herb in your piss test. Smoke and be merry Ratsun. Just don't lose yer hed. There is benefit until there is idiocy. And idocy comes real quick I'm afraid.... 2 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Sucks Teddy. End of 2015 I bulged a disc that pressed on my spinal canal causing paralysis in my left leg. Had surgery that at least alleviated the paralysis, but my back has never been the same and I can't do what I used to without feeling the effects that evening or the next day. 2 Quote Link to comment
tr8er
Shattered my femur senior year of HS. I will NEVER be the same. Early arthritis, and hip pain for life. But hey, you can win with a 2-7 off suit if payed right. Earn your place and own your lot. All good. Ted, you let this stop you, it will. But you won't, right?! We are crazy able with a tenth of the shit we are given. Rock hard, and see your obstacles as challenges. 1 Quote Link to comment
tdaaj
Not stopping me, slowing me down a bit but I'm looking for alternative solutions for my issues performing Datsun duties. I own a tire machine, today I took 7 sets of wheels and tires in to be broken down at the tire shop, saved my back by not using my own machine. 2 Quote Link to comment
tdaaj
I'm not feeling sorry for myself, I've worked hard all my life, sometimes I'd get the shit end of the stick, but I made do, and I'll make do with this too. 2 Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
He works for a place that would definitely look for a reason other than the government's fault if something was to go kaboom,,,, so there's no way in hell a person working there would be safe if drugs of any kind were found.. . At my wife's work it's the same, legal don't mean shit . Too much liability in the workforce to let some stoners or tweakers stay employed. So much easier to just say no all the way around. And be wary of CBD. Even if no THC is in the mixture at all, it can still trigger a false positive on the whiz quiz. Not worth it to me so I steer clear. Pretty sure my employer would not allow me to argue and fight the results of such. And if they did, I'd always be on thin ice after. 1 Quote Link to comment
tdaaj
Yeah I'm Leary of cbd's also. I like the results I see in other people, but not worth risking my job. 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
When my work pops a random drug test on people it is with those cups with the little strips built on. Far from accurate. CBD would definitely pop a positive for THC using these. Not worth it. My owner and manager are both so black and white that no other answer is suffice. I would receive no leeway at all to object. If I was a barista or gas station employee, I would give no fucks. Beings that I work in a somewhat more professional setting- no bueno. As soon as I have that chance to light one up though...you bet. 2 Quote Link to comment

I'm BLUE
Yeah I'm Leary of cbd's also. I like the results I see in other people, but not worth risking my job. Take a look at Gabapentin/Neurontin. Takkes a couple of adjustments to find the level that works for you. May not be a cure , but sure cuts off the edge significantly. I have 0% idea how that relates to your diagnosis or if it even applys. 1 Quote Link to comment
tdaaj
I've tried it in the past, bad effects. No more of that 1 Quote Link to comment
