There has to be more equality. Withholding sex is not how it should work. One or both of you should start communicating effectively instead of being assholes. Suggest indulging in grudge or hate sex for a while with lots of name calling and swearing, but talk afterwards don't sleep. It's like fighting with pillows or assault with a friendly weapon. What do women want? fucked if I know but if they think they are holding all the cards (sitting on them actually) it's way more difficult to find common ground.

We have young kids, so the normal grudgefuck doesn’t apply. It’s an odd thing when women have kids, all of a sudden they act like everyone is their subordinate. I do routinely fuck up by saying things like “fuck you bitch, it’s only friction”, and “you were worth putting up with when you were 19 and soooo much sexier”. I’m more than partially to blame, I’m not about to cow tow just to get stink up on the hangdown. It’s not all fml...but for the next 3-5 days it is.

...very hard to do, but one has to choose the high ground. I'm much more patient than my wife, easier for me to forgive and forget, what do they say, "to err is human, to forgive is Devine", try it..it may work. But somebody has to show restraint.

I've been married 26 years and I hear you man. Not going to assume it's the same for you, but my wife and I were sacrificing a lot to meet the needs of the family, and rarely had our relationship needs met. Kids are need machines and eventually I blamed her for not meeting my needs. Turned out she was blaming me of the same thing and shocker, everything started falling apart. It wasn't until we admitted shit wasn't working and we needed to adjust, or Paradime family would bust. That isn't a one way street though, you got to work together to take care for each other.

Get kids in their own room(s). Simple to say but difficult in practice. They don't belong or deserve to be there. There are baby monitors that are two way radios so you can comfort them from a distance. All they need is reassurance that you're there.
