Surfing at K38 Baja there's a funky jet stream that bends in from up North some times. The water temp can be 10 or 15 degrees colder there than in San Diego. I was there in late Fall without a wet suit on a high 70s over cast day, but the water temp was damn cold. I was in it for about 5 hours until my limbs started shutting down. Could barely drag myself and board back to my bus shacking and wobbling like I had Parkinson's. Serious lack of muscle control. Even after a half hour under a blanket and running the heater, I didn't even have enough strength in my fingers to snap the fuck button on my OP shorts. Stupid kid.
