I’ve seen it here, people on ratsun that have 6-5 years datsun experience have tried to “school” me, when I have as much Datsun experience as they have years of life. I’M NOT REFERRING TO ANYONE NAMED IN THIS THREAD, NOR THOSE THAT HAVE POSTED IN IT. Yeah,it was some kind of elitism bullshit or "the cool kids at school " of which neither are ways of being I've ever had an inclination for. I know in cuz I've posted stuff and other members would disagree/debate with me and even if it was a disagreement I bear no ill will or anything negative towards them as I sincerely believe it is a right of all to have whatever view/beliefs they have chosen or come to see as theirs without them being disabused for it. We all here are real people with real concerns and experiences in life that form who we are and as such it is healthy and good for all to be able to express them equally. Old saying my Father used to sprout was "you can't teach your grandmother to suck eggs" (of which I have no idea of it's origins) but it was trying to convey that a younger person cannot teach or school an older person. This I have found usually is right but at times the younger or less initiated in certain things have fresh perspectives to offer so it is the wise older people who listen and consider rather than stop any discourse as I see it. 1 Quote Link to comment
