Dolomite
Pretty much any single din unit will fit in any vehicle but you have to do some work. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
You're going to have to make something fit. The compartment for the radio will probably have to be cut away and a face plate used. Here's what I did but depends on the radio. 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Retrosound. Expensive for what you get. Radio delete plate, Bluetooth adapter wired to a hidden amp and speakers. 1 Quote Link to comment
67_1600
My suggestion would be to find a 720 console and butcher it if needed instead of your dash: 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Yes to this. In my 710 I left the non functioning stock radio in place in the dash, but mounted my player in the console. You still need to cover the original hole if you don't have the old radio. 1 Quote Link to comment
7twentyguy
I've got the factory AM/FM radio that came in my 85 if you need one. The problem is all aftermarket units are too deep. You don't have to cut the face of the dash, but you will need to cut the sidewall plastic inside if the dash and use a new outer trim piece. 1 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
They are right. Nothing will fit right without cutting except MAYBE retrosound type equipment. I'm working what 67_1600 and DMike are taking about. I'm planning on retrofitting a 6disc cd changer Subaru deck in to the console and relocating my gauges to the butchered dash. I got another piece of the factory stainless dash trim and I'm going to use that over a filler panel so it looks stock when I'm done. 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
nis720 did a couple custom 720 dashes a few years ago. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/56087-custom-720-dash/ Quote Link to comment

bottomwatcher
This is an oddball suggestion but they make boat stereos that fit guage holes. I have a boat with one and it has all the USB bluetooth. I might install one in my 1968 beetle because the original radio is in there and I don't want to ruin the look. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
If you get a device that does not have a CD player it is like half the depth. With every form of media having the ability to be accessed from a phone on should utilize that. AUX to a multi-channel amp; covered. PYLE makes a lot of these adapters. Look up marine applications.
