datzenmike
Into... what? Axles only fit what they came out of, an S10 or Ranger. Is this for a truck? Why, what wrong with the H-190 you have. Quote Link to comment

Seems like a Toyota axle would be a better swap? Probably closer in width anyway... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
And 6 bolt too. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
And 6 bolt too. Actually no. Toyotas are 5 lug. ^_^ Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Also, Ranger is 5x114.3 (like the Toyota), but the S-10 is not. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Maybe the Toyota 4x4 was the only truck that had them. I have an old early '80s Toy rear axle in the back yard... they are the same 6 bolt pattern as Nissan trucks. Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Actually no. Toyotas are 5 lug. ^_^Not older 4x4, they are 6 Quote Link to comment
G-Duax
The 330 & 430 Cedric & Gloria sedans had 5-lug,114 H190/29 spline axles. I see them in Japan every once in a while. Never grabbed a set because I still haven't found 5 lug front hubs that will fit a 620. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I think Toy 5 bolt fronts will fit the 720 front by changing the bearing. I remember a discussion on a 720 forum but had to be ten or more years ago. This would naturally be on a truck that was already disc brake. I see no use to going 5 lug when there are plenty of 6 bolt rim choices out there. Quote Link to comment

Because there are soooooo many more 5 lug options for wheels. And, really, there are not a lot of options for classic 6 lug wheels. Unless you want to spend JDM money. Or overpay for vintage, BRITTLE aluminum. 5 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Unless you want to spend JDM money. Or overpay for vintage, BRITTLE aluminum. This. Going 5 lug on a Datsun truck makes all the sense in the world. Hell, on my 620KC I was trying to work out how to make it 4 lug... 1 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Not older 4x4, they are 6 Yes, and 4x4s are a lot more common than 2x4s. ^_^ 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Dodge Ram 50, Chev, Ford, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Trooper, Jeep, Mazda, then all the later Nissan 720/D21/WD22, Xterrea, Frontier, Titan, ... There are more I can't remember, but how many years of different Chevy's were there, and with optional aluminum rims in 14, 15 16.5 ?? So, if you care to look, there are plenty of options not requiring you to convert to 5 lug. Quote Link to comment

Oneeye
I ended up going with toyota hubs in the front and s10 rear axle with adapters for 5x114 in the rear Quote Link to comment
