Need advice help on lowering my 620.

I know I’m going to put blocks in the rear end. This is my first project car and I’m ready to see it closer to earth. I understand how to lower it with torsion bars. My concern is how bad it is going to butcher my camber? Is there stock adjustment in the camber? Adjustable control arms? Drop spindles? Im willing to spend money but I don’t want to buy a bag kit. Let me know what you think

Drop spindles will fit any Datsun truck ball joint type control arms, but you have to use vented rotor type disc brakes, 83/84 rotors/calipers need spacers, 85 up do not need spacers, the drop spindles made for 720s will not work with the non-vented type disc brakes the early 720s, late 620s had.

If going really low you will have issues with camber, but dropping it 3 inches should not be an issue, there is also the drop arms that Mike Klotz has made in the past, he makes them in such a way that camber is not an issue, but he doesn't make them very often anymore.

There is also the question of your kingpins, are the in good shape/tight?

Wheel spacers? How thick?

They are not wheel spacers, they are spacers for the calipers to align them with the rotor, they only need to be used on the 83/84 Nissan 720 vented rotor/caliper type, the 1985 and up don't need the spacers, the spacers are around a quarter inch thick.

This is why some ebay ads say there drop spindles are for 1985/86 while some ads say 83-97, the 83-97 kits have the spacers while the 85/86 kits do not have the spacers.

This is how I believe it works, I have never had an 83/84 front brake assembly apart to look at it, I have never installed a set of drop spindles even though I have 2 sets of them, I made 720 drop arms for my 520 kingcab ute project because I wanted to keep/use the stock 14 rims, I never thought of doing what Charlie did, that is what I will do when I get around to putting a set of drop spindles on my 521 kingcab.
