Aaron Datsun
Does anyone know the best place to get new bolts for the intake and exhaust manifolds for bolting to a cylinder head? If it matters it is for a L20B with a Weber downdraft. Thank you. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Bolts can be gotten anywhere. Do you still have the fat washers that came with this originally? I will be installing studs for both intake and exhaust on my current project. Less chance of pulling threads this way. 4 Quote Link to comment

Stoffregen Motorsports
Definitely use studs for the lower intake/exhaust manifold hardware. Those threaded holes in the head are known for stripping threads and a stud will help make sure this doesn't happen. You can get studs at https://www.mcmaster.com/or through Dorman at your local auto parts store. Quote Link to comment
captain720
I just have a bunch of them hanging around from various things and just find one that fits right. 2 Quote Link to comment

Use the studs just on the bottom and bolts on the top, it makes installation and removal so much better (easier) Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Wouldn't the ultimate plan be remove and install once? Quote Link to comment
Doctor510
Yes BUT, you never know... Quote Link to comment
