I have a 1982 310 and I'm really trying to find out what 4 wheel drive chassis I can fit under this body without modifying too much. It is the 5 speed front wheel drive but I like the idea of 4 wheel drive or all wheel

Let me start by saying you would be much better off starting with a 4 wheel drive for 4x4 things. 

 

Now that that is out of the way.

What is you goal for 4x4; street, trail riding, off roading, hardcore rock crawling? Do you know how to fabricate and weld or do you have lots of $?

 

 

Next come questions like

 

What is the wheelbase of your 310?

You are not going to be able to add the RWD to what you have. Best bet is something like a Tracker or Suzuki Sidekick with similar wheelbase and fit your body over it keeping all the 4x4 drivetrain and frame..

The engine needs a rebuild again because my buddy took it out of his shop with open internals and got rained in. Granny is in good condition. I'd go at about 150
