L20B thermostat housing ?????

I need pointed in the right direction. Need a new thermostat housing not just cap. Whole housing. Part number? Where to buy?? Any help?? Thanks

The place to look for one is a wrecking yard or a want ad here... http://community.ratsun.net/classifieds/category/4-engine/?sort_key=date_added&sort_order=desc ... someone probably has one on an old junk head. We don't allow buying and selling outside the classifieds, sorry.

 

What year? some just have the temp sender for the gauge and the bypass fitting, the '75-'77 don't have the bypass fitting, others have a fitting for the TVV for the EGR. On top of this, the '79 and '80 housing has a three bolt thermostat cover. The bypass fitting can be plugged and a three bolt will work as long as you have the three bolt cover to match it.

 

If you have the old one, post a picture of it. I can post part numbers but I doubt Nissan still sells them....

Lower housing PN: 11061-P0300

Upper Housing PN: 11060-U0100

Still both available new.

PN for the lower housing is for early L-4 with just temp sensor and 2 bolt upper.
