Yesterday me and a friend made the spacer and the bolt sleeves on the lathe. Took us a morning to do but it fits perfectly!

What oil is recommended in these LSD's?

Just about anything in the 75 to 90 wt range, but you will need to add anti-chatter additive, or LSD additive, especially if you set the disks up for more bite.

Some gear lubes already have it, and state 'for limited slip' on the labels, but if the diff still snaps, pops, or chatters when turning a tight corner, add more additive.

 

Nice job on the ring gear, and bolt spacers. :)

H190 spacers? Not a lot of H190 axles in Europe.

Well, he did buy a 4.625 gear set from me also.

Not sure why he wanted a second spacer though.

Bonnet = hood

Spotted dick = ???

Stoffregen = Dust Rain (in Dutch B)  )

Yeah, I've understood that since I was a kid, but I'd like to find the actual meaning of the name.

 

I've also been told that Stoffregen means "bearer of Christ", ...what...?
