kelowg
89 ka24e, 83 200sx 5 sp. Would flywheel from my l20b work on the ka? Ka from auto,so flex plate spacer gets removed corrct? Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
KA auto has a fat bushing pressed in to the crank that has to come out when doing a manual swap in a 240. I would assume that is still the case with your setup. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The 240sx KS'a use a 225mm flywheel, so at minimum you should use a truck L20B 225mm wheel. I wouldn't use a 200mm car L20B wheel on a much more powerful KA engine. The best choice is the 'White Bunny' set up. This is a truck KA 240mm flywheel and clutch. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
White bunny mod allows clutches from 300zx to be used for an even wider range of performance options. Quote Link to comment
G-Duax
The flywheel from a single turbo RB20 engine will bolt to the KA, when used with a 350Z clutch assy. I used to import billet flywheels from Japan, and sold way to many of them than I can remember. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Yup the '84-'86 300zx turbo PP is rated at 600 kg clamping force same as the Roadster unit. More than overkill for a KA. Forgot about that. 30210-9600 about $120 at the dealer 30100-21P00 for the disc about $90 at dealer. Quote Link to comment
