Good platforms for L series swaps

I have seen:

 

Sand Rail with a Dual Mikuni fed L-20B

Alpine Sunbeam with a Weber Carbed L-18

69 Jaguar E-Type with an L-24 with stock SU carbs

Farm water pump with an L-16

And a few L powered MG and Triumph sports cars and one Fiat Spider with an L-18 SSS 

sunbeam alpine would be a good swap... the stock engines in those are shit!!!

 

there was a log splitter for sale around here a while ago with an l16 on it... 

 

MG's and triumphs sound like good canadates as well... sand rail or baja bug would be good... a lil extra weight out back would help the wheelie time :)

 

theres an Austin America I know of rotting away in a field, may be a good one for a L20b...

 

i'd love to get my hands on one of those Datsun jet boats too.
