So the car DID get painted a couple days ago, however Eric had some problems with the paint mottling due to the extreme cold we had. It laid down well but once it cured overnight there were some hardly noticeable stripes that were only seen once the clear was down. Needless to say Eric wasn't happy even though it was somewhat minor so he had to strip down most of the car and re-shoot. The front fenders, door jams, front valence, and tail panel were spared. I do not have any pictures of the paint issues as they were too tough to capture on camera.
Also a disclaimer.......these pics DO NOT show the color well at all. They look gray but it is definitely more green. I am in LOVE!
This is the ONE picture I have after the first paint:
Here are parts sanded back down:
AND HERE ARE THE HOOD, DOORS, TRUNK, AND SPOILER WITH NEW PAINT!!!! So good!
AND here is one pic out in the sun. Still not the greatest and better pictures WILL be coming! The shell should be repainted in the next few days and then Eric has to cut and buff the whole car. I don't know what words I can use other than I am BEYOND HAPPY with his work and cannot wait to start putting it back together!

The car looks awesome, cactus green is my favorite Datsun color.

Sorry about the shadows in the first pic below. I am BEYOND thrilled. Going up to visit it next Wednesday. Then a couple things left and I can bring it home probably the following week to start reassembly.
