Man, I am pissed at Photobucket...

I am a lefty pacifist by nature, and a refugee of the (original) Woodstock Nation. I haven‘t been in a fist fight since the 6th grade I am 68 now. But I would not hesitate to punch the bastard who owns Photobucket right in the nose if I met him. And you all know the reasons why.

 

In the end, this is why the internet is a false promise: you can‘t trust anybody or anything. Lying to make a buck never found a better accomplice than the internet. What a piece of shit. In the end, the weakness of humanity will bring it all crashing down, and I will be cheering from my mud hut.

 

I started my thread to document my long term effort to learn about, and repair a 720 truck. I didn‘t do it to get a bunch of pats on the back, I didn‘t do it because I think my project is all that. I did it for the next 720 oriented person who comes along who, at some future date, finds themselves in the novice shoes that I walked in. From all of the help that I have received, I get the feeling that most of you are here for a somewhat similar reason.

 

Now, thanks to the lying, greedy avarice of fucking Photobucket, my efforts were largely wasted. And man, that was a lot of effort!

 

I‘d sure like to break a nose or two right now. And I aint proud of it, neither....

My PhotoBucket account still works fine.....

 

But I've been a paying customer of theirs for nearly 18 years.

Originally I paid $25/ year for their service, now it's up to $35.

 

Did it because I've always thought that I had something to offer the many forums I live on through many car builds, kart projects, and boom sticks.

Always thought that a lousy $2 a month was worth it.

I've never abused their system, not using it to dump all my images in. I have a real computer hard drive to store all my stuff.

 

So to all of you that are just out for freebies, I guess you got what you paid for......

Stop crying about it.
