Then find someone to take over the project. Well came across this one on FB and decided to pull the trigger. Turn key KA 24 twin cam running dime We have a few projects already at the shop and decided to out source the paint part of the project. We also had a wonderful orange paint from the unfinished Bob3 project. Been waiting a while to see a finished project in this color. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity. the510keeper Posted December 11, 2017 Author Report Share Posted December 11, 2017 Wanted to protect the new headliner before patching the small amount a rust we found on the floor pans very minimal Ran out of Zero rust, wont have more for a week back to front in rebuild, finding more things to do to make this right Ball joints Grabbed a clean center link from parts storage, but wanted to push any shit through it and clean it before mounting it new complete tierods and cotter pins :) Short 510 struts with VW rabbit KYB inserts, Coilovers, T3 camber plates and bearing top hats ready to go in Opened the strut tops, makes for more adjustability Then cut it up [/uR 5 Quote Link to comment

Finally my brother is stepping up and running it. Besides paperwork. So i stay home at the shop and do Datsuns all day. Cleaned bearings with lacquer thinner works fast and drys fast Now im chubbing up sexy new hardware The inside of the truck and hood have been bugging me I used a carbide bit scrapper and removed the poop got to careful with pressure because its all ready painted kimda doing things backwards This also bugged the hell out of me, I usually paint the trunk jamb while painting the car. trunk lid was ez breezy og paint seamseal some ugly, and used 2-part panel bond the front of the hood where the og glue pulls the skin away from the subframe 6 Quote Link to comment

the510keeper Posted December 19, 2017 Author Report Share Posted December 19, 2017 Floors check Confederate flag no check rubbers need some rubbers quarter window rubbers i use the Tieland kit for a 4 door 510 and use the back door rubbers for the quarter windows with a couple feet left over You have to cut ur own miters They rubbers do come with one corner now to mask and repaint the frames 3 Quote Link to comment
