bottomwatcher
I just measured my 1998 suburu outback seats and center to center fron bolts were 17 inch. Stock 720 looks to be 16 inches. I swapped 2003 Maxima seats. They are electric and the drivers seat goes a dozen different ways. I killed two birds because my seatbelts were shot and I was able to bolt in a new mechanism and the seats had the belt receiver attached. Now this was not bolt in and required 2 minutes of welding but good seats make it a lot more pleasant to drive. The only drawback I's the black will scorch your ass and nuts when parked in the sun. First pic old seatbelt receivers. 1 Quote Link to comment
Damnsun 720
Just to add to everyone else, my father has a 81 Datsun 720, after a very long time the seats were absolutely destroyed to the point where the spongy thing was absolutely gone, and you could see the metal in the headrest part. On top of that, the seat was stuck almost all the way down, so I would have to drive with my back up in the air. I got the seats of a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo for 80 dollars and these are infinitely better than the stock seats. If there is an LKQ nearby, check their inventory on the website to make sure they have those specific models in stock. Quote Link to comment
powderfinger
Yes, those seats will directly swap. If you want them to be more comfortable, take them back out and put those seats on the factory Nissan seat bases from your old seats and reinstall. I didn't like those seats until I did that. The back of the seat sits too high. Swapping to factory bases fixes the seating angle and helps with headroom. Quote Link to comment
