You need the two terminal sender for the block. On the 4x4 option the Yellow/Green wire is for the RED low pressure warning light in the dash, the other, Yellow/Blue, goes to the gauge. The 2wd may have the same wire harness plugs just taped up beside the heater under the dash. If you have the gauge, did you get the small oil pressure, volt gauge wire harness with it? If yes you can just plug it in for power and illumination and may only have to run one wire out to the sender. I have this same gauge in both my 710s.

If his harness has the wires for the oil pressure gauge and light, then all he has to do is dig out the plug near the firewall between the heater core and heater fan box, plug the pigtail into it and then plug the gauges into the pigtail, then replace the one wire sender/sensor for the 2 wire sender/sensor and he is good to go, if it doesn't have the 2 wires in the engine compartment then he will need to make his own mini wiring harness, and it is way easier to do if one has the short pigtail mini harness.

If you have the pigtail and plugged it in and the volt meter and lights came on, then like Dmike said there is a second wire in the engine compartment wiring taped up so it is out of the way, you need to follow the wire that was connected to the oil sensor and find the other wire, it should be right there somewhere, but you do not have the "T" plug, so you will have to plug them in individually on the new 2 plug sensor.

The plugs have been taped up by the heater on all the 85/86 720s I have worked with.

My 86 king cab had to have the 2 wire oil pressure sender installed and I had to ad the second wire from the sender to the plug by the battery.  The plug inside un taped by the heater and the pigtail and gauges installed.
