I'll get a radiator figured out first, then move on to fitting fans. Might be able to do a 9" and a 7.5 or something.

So pullers have a hard time fitting. both my cars have pushers with no issues. The wagon I put 2 8" spal fans and it works like a champ, the truck i have a 12" spal pusher as well and the other part of the pushers that I like is it is a way cleaner set up.

I'll take some time after work today to measure the radiator with all the fans and shrouding.

The thickest part of the assembly is where ever the center of the fan motor is, so if you can mount it off center to keep it away from stuff, you probably can keep them pullers.

Puller configuration scientifically is best for airflow and logically makes sense.

Do you happen to have a part number on those 8" pushers?

When it comes to electric fans, gotta be spal. They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Then again there are huge numbers of stock fans of all sizes and capacities in wrecking yards. They practically give them away.

Mercedes has pretty narrow fans, I think VW too?

I had one that had the blades part of a circular shroud that turned. Very thin. May have been an Audi or Volvo.

Spal is an oem supplier.

Looked at subaru fans. I can't think of any oem running dual 9" or smaller. More likely one larger e-fan. Or mechanical with pusher for ac or assist. It's worth looking at though.

This Subaru one was two almost identical with shrouds. One had a rad coolant recovery container on the side but I modified it to fit and then realized I needed the other and it was too late. I already have the recovery can anyway. Pull on the left side to clear the fan pulley and the push on the right in front. Overlap about 3"? For all the current draw mentioned, both are on a 20 amp fuse. $10 each.

The fans arent directly in the center so it shouldnt interfere with the water pump.20170723_114050.jpg

On most Datsuns there just isn't enough room between the high beams for side by side.

My 66 520 radiator is a CX Racing Radior for a 510 SR swap.  I beleive it has to 10" pullers, might be 12"s, and a custom aluminum shroud.  All through my 520 build I have relied on a 4 1/2" grinder with a cut off wheel a cutting torch and a welder to make what I wanted to fit.  Hell wit all the mods and remods I could have built 3 trucks by now!

Stock air con rad. Pull fan on left. The pusher fan is on front right. I thought 3-4 inch overlap but actually half. The front one covers half the pull fan.
