Stoffregen Motorsports
I was sad to see SPAL stop production of their super fan controller, the one that had soft start, built in timer, multiple fan capability, etc. I spoke with a rep of theirs at SEMA and he said they just had too many problems with it. That's what I want. Something that can handle all of those functions. 3 Quote Link to comment
distributorguy
FiTech EFI does a good job controlling dual fans, independently. Not many "cheap" controllers can do that. They can't handle the Amp load. 1 Quote Link to comment
G-Duax
A stand alone ECU is kind of out of the question for many Datsun owners. I run a separate 30a relay for each of my fans on the 620, and 80 amp relays on my Cressida. Never a problem.... When using a fancy, multi-function fan controller, I always just use them just to turn on & off secondary relays. Very little amp draw to turn on another relay, and if something fails, and over loads the system, such as a fan failure, the secondary relay takes the abuse. The controller never takes the death blow. 2 Quote Link to comment
