I thought Mazda rotary engines have w ignition coils yet you have 3?

This is probably the question I get asked most!  Each rotor has two spark plugs- a "Leading" plug that does most of the work, and a "Trailing" plug that fires almost immediately after to burn off the last of the mixture.  The leading plugs on my setup are triggered by the magnetic pickup inside the distributor, which goes to an MSD 6AL2 box in the dash, which then fires two coils- one per plug.  This setup eliminates the cap/rotor connection from the circuit, which gives a more reliable spark event.  The trailing plugs aren't as important, so they just get a single coil running through the cap and rotor as normal.

Like the Bull Durum reference (ten points and why I finished watching this video) and the music is way better that some pukey shit some people think is so....

So another 10 points. Car looks OK too. (I hate rotary swaps and front camber so this is actually high praise)  Oh and another 20 points for getting the lowering right on the IRS. I would almost believe that it has a solid rear axle it's so good.

Very well stated. I had a 13B 6 port street port in a notchback. I had the same set up.

40 points?! That's high praise coming from you, and I appreciate it! I'm glad Austin chose the music he did- really stands out from the rap and electronic stuff in other videos.

Dude... great video man, damm.  How much are you willing to let her to go to a new home. u LMK

I don't want to add up the receipts I have for it at this point, but I would imagine there's around $20,000 just in parts without labor...  If that number doesn't already scare you away we can talk!  LOL
