Just bought a 521

Received my Beebani brackets. Got one side done tonight. The stock D21 brake lines don’t really work if you install it correctly on the back of the caliper. At full steering lock, the two fittings hit each other. It you rotate the caliper “banjo” downwards and then tighten it into place, then it works pretty good.

And the good news is that there is tons of clearance with the wheel I bought. Looks like it’s a go for the remaining 3.

Mike's parts work out of the box with stock brake hoses.  No hunting for parts to fit.

Where and why are they notched?

They're not really "notched," but you have to cut a flat on the head of the stud such that it keys up with a flat on the back of the hub casting.

In the thread above, he files the knurl to make it smaller, but it's not necessary if you're using a hydraulic press. They go right in.

That makes more sense... never messed with those on mine ... didn't really look at the back side of the hub....

I had to get longer ones because the aluminum wheels are thicker. The lug nuts I bought are just barely long enough to fit. Any longer and I'd likely have to trim the studs back a little bit.

Green bean? As in, too much green?

I don’t know. There wheels come with huge chrome center caps that stick out really far. I think these look way better, despite being green. After I painted them I thought they would look way too decorative on an old truck. After I put this one on, I liked it a lot better, but time will tell. Worst case, I could just spray them black again.

Looks good keep up the good work. Center caps look fine. Something to think about is redo the center caps in a standard color and then accent it with green. But it’s clean.

Installed the last 6 longer wheel studs on the truck, nothing exciting.

Then I installed a battery quick disconnect on the roadster, charged the battery, and blew the cobwebs out for a while. And by “blew the cobwebs out” I mean “flogged the fuck out of it around the block a few times.”
