It petered out and hit land as a cat 3.. then quickly a 2. Some flooding.. shitty buildings fell apart. 

 

A lot less than predicted, but can't complain about that.. hard to predict what a fucking cloud is doing to do.

Still some strong wind.. so not to discredit it too much. I'd assume a lot of the buildings are built to withstand high winds though given the location.

Definitely better prepped region will have substantial less chaos, aftermath clean up is a whole other story though, hopefully it won't be too bad.

Noticed people had a big complaint about the media over hyping the storm to down right spreading lies. The wind trackers were not reporting wind speeds any where near what the media was saying. Which kind of fits with the lack of damage and flooding. Outside of the power lines going down.

 Third world you just pick up someone else's tin and hammer your new home together and 180 mph winds..... Better construction and category 3 (111 -130 mph) down to 2 (76-110 mph)  in Florida.... and the media are lying hype/hysteria feeders.

broke a bunch of things 

flooded a bunch of streets 

sucked up water out of bays 

and broke several construction cranes 

it was down graded to a category 3 then a 4 when it hit the keys then back to a 3 and down to a 2 

still it was very strong and did alot of damage 

it was over 400 miles wide thats alot of wind
