Brake ducting ideas

Looking to install brake ducting for the BRE lip. Looking for images of successful setups for road racing or auto crossing. I know the clearance for the hose is pretty tight between the wheels from lock to lock but wanted to see how you guys route the hosing.

Mike thanks for your feedback. I was hoping there were more performance guys that would chime in on this post. I guess the majority of guys on this forum don't bother ducting their brakes.

Well mostly because there is little need to. Most have swapped to zx struts with larger calipers and a monster vented rotor. And unless racing, they won't get hot enough to worry about.

I've been digging through Google images for ideas to do this on my Cressida (which will see track time).

For my autocross/hillclimb 510, I have never had a problem with brake fade, therefore I have never considered ducting.  This may change if/when I start doing track days, but with my current motorsport activities, the brakes just don't get that hot.

 

Check out the ducts used on this car (picture is about half way down) http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22786&start=255.  They are from a Z06 Corvette and look like a good solution for maintaining tire clearance.
