I tore all the crap out of the driver kick panel looking for the speaker wire because I didn't see it anywhere in the door.

Guess where it was? in the damn door!!!

Speaker wire was not hooked up as the plug had disintegrated. I looked five times and tugged on all those wires and never saw the speaker wire with plug. Retarded.

I just tested the voice warning system and it works I just need a door speaker now as it's the only speaker that the system uses.

That is one clean Maxima congrats on the purchase I also own an 84 not close to as nice as your as it once was before I sold it to someone over a year ago and bought back and it was trashed. Good luck with parts if you are patient enough look threw Yahoo Japan Auctions might find parts from bluebirds overseas.

No sir yours is much nicer I saw it at canby this year. Also saw your 200sx last year and told you to leave it a automatic.

All the Yahoo Japan Auctions I look at don't say they ship overseas.

You can use an agent in Japan to buy your parts and then they ship them to you. If you are making a bunch of purchases they will collect them all for you and ship it all together.

I just tore half of the car apart looking to shut off the sensor light. It's this wire here just unplug it if you are looking for this. It's under the driver knee panel.

Why did you have to cut the sensor light off at the wire? Just curious cause I recently acquired an 83 Maxima.

In the 80s, the sensor light in the dash was on a mileage timer.  It was to remind you to replace your oxygen sensor.  They were designed so that when the light came on at the first 80K, you disconnected the sensor wire and connected it to a second wire.  This second wire would turn on the light at 160K (my mileages may not be exactly correct), and at that point, you simply disconnected the light and it never worked again.  They were designed this way from the factory.  It is proper to simply disconnect the light at that wire under the dash.
