Stealing NOS parts, I can kinda understand.  They're expensive, I hear.  I doubt that my mirror was some kind of one of a kind prize.

 

Anyways, I'm kinda pleased with the stock mirror.  It does look much nicer.  The smaller view is something that I'm still getting used to.

 

The theory that seems to be prevailing on both my facebook and here is that someone changed it out because they are OCD and couldn't stand my big ass, sharp, rectangular, aftermarket mirror sitting in the tiny little windshield and they just had to do something about it.  I still think that it's weird, but at least there's an explanation that fits within my worldview.

 

Whatever.  If anyone wants to replace my steering wheel with the stock one, I saw one on Ebay for $200.

Maybe you cut someone off, so they replaced your mirror, thinking it didn't work.
