sondat Posted September 7, 2018 Author Report Share Posted September 7, 2018 (edited) Have the engine and transmission matted and in the truck. When we bought the L20b disassembled it came with a bucket of additional parts including these 2 brackets. I realize they bolt to the bell housing and back base of the engine block. Only the one on the left (longer bracket) lines up with holes on both engine and dog leg, the one on the right lines up on the engine but not with any holes on the dog leg. The original L16 and 4 speed did not have these brackets, should I worry about installing these? should I bolt up the one side only that lines up?
