Does this look like the transmission oil fill plug? Do I just put the oil in until it makes a mess on me?

Also is there a way that I can lower it without destroying the ride quality/cargo capacity?

Drop Spindles and drop leafs. Did that to my Hardbody and it still hauls cargo just fine, but drop leafs cost far more than simply blocks...

Thanks, I was scarred of dropping it because I still need to pull around my busted Datsuns on dollies. So I could do drop leafs in the rear and shorter front coil overs from Summit and drop the whole thing a bit? Do I need the blocks and the leafs or just the leafs? Do I need a custom drive shaft too in order to prevent U-Joint failures?

Then put some air bags in the rear to keep it from throwing sparks when I weight it down.

If you did blocks, you could get some of these and just slap them on when towing?

You'll need just drop leafs. They usually result in a 3-4" drop.

No. Not to me at least. GMs normally have a 3/8" female plug.

Zoom out. I'd hate for you to pull a reverse spring/pin out by mistake.

You might be better off swinging it through a Jiffy Lube or something and letting one of their monkeys make the mess. They have the oil, the tools, and the liability insurance.

Update! sorry guys I had to take a break from all things fun to make money and work more than any rational person would.

So this little bugger is having tranni issues, it needs new AC parts, power steering pump, heater core................... the 2.8 is actually a kinda nasty engine, and yeah I am not sure what to do with this thing. I think it will get a little time to itself while I get back to important Datsun stuff that is actually fun to wrench on. #flatcat19 #Itoldyouso #yeahok
