Do you know if there was variation truck to truck, year to year?  I'm guessing it took more than 1 set of tooling to make all those floor pans.  Normally tooling like that gets repaired and updated annually, replaced every 5-6 years.  I'd guess if you measured a '73 then a '79, they may be significantly different - like most every other part on the truck.

I cant say for the floors, but you can bet the seat belt mounts are designed differently I salvaged one out of a 76 only to find out its out of whack.

oh and the drip rail along "third brake light" has a slightly different curvature. I could only notice from the ends where i cut and welded.

I just measure my 74, my 77, my 78.   Depth was the same and the dimple varied little in shape.
