ratsun777
Hello I picked up a 1979 king cab 620 last week and the temperature reading on the cluster doesn't work. Truck has a 240sx radiator with an electric fan. What kind of temp sensor would I need to get in order to read the temperature again Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Several things can be wrong. The sender is located on the front of the thermostat housing. It will have a Yellow/White stripe wire to it. Is the wire connected? Is the wire and the sender clean snug and making good connection? If yes ground the wire to the thermostat housing and turn the key to ON. What you should see is the gauge move to full HOT. If it reads HOT then the gauge and the wire to it are alright and the sender would seem to be the problem. The Nissan part number is 25080-89900. Or try NAPA If no change the problem is the wire or the gauge or somewhere between. 1 Quote Link to comment
