280zx/510 Strut Swap/Wheel Offset

Getting ready to swap out my 510 front struts for 280ZX ones. Tons of great info here on that swap but I'm curious how/if the swap will impact the offset for wheels I'm considering. I've heard that it will, but I don't know how much and whether it will impact the offset positively or negatively. My test fit before the swap looks like the wheels sit about 1" outside the front fenders. I'm hoping the swap might move the wheels inboard with the ZX struts.

It's all in the hub, so if 3/4" (I get 0.63" but?...) it should move 3/4" inward on any car they are put on. The zx strut is shorter and as the zx spring is too large to fit the 510 strut tower, it and the spring perch and top hat have to be removed. If removing, likely you will want to lower the ride height also and this will affect the camber, toe and bump steer.

I have some measurements by Byron (a machinist by trade) of the Realm. It specifies the distance from the threaded end of the spindle to the wheel mounting surface for the 510 and the zx spindle. The difference is 0.62" but this assumes the spindles are identical. I know the zx hub does not fit the 510 spindle. Everyone says 3/4" so lets go with that.

Moving the rim inward3/4" may cause a 510 rim choice to be too close to the strut tube.
