Rear windshield source?

I've got a project car lined up but the back windshield is gone and I would like to price one before buying the car. I'm seeing old classified ads selling used ones, but not finding a source for new ones. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?

For what? Honda, Toyota, Ford , Chevy?

Since this is posted in the 510/1600 section, lets assume you are talking about a 1968-1973 Datsun 510 sedan or wagon.

I don't think I've ever seen a new one but you can call any glass company in your phone book and ask.

Rear windows don't get rock chips or sandblasted or wiper marks though so used glass should still look brand new after a cleaning.  I would not be afraid of used.

Not sure how many 510's still live in Arkansas, so shipping may be a bit of a cost adder new or used.

Sorry, 69 510. The local guys I would usually use have no source and places like Auto-lite don't have any either. However, the guy from Auto-lite suggested car-part.com and there are a bunch of search results that popped up. I'll try and track one down that way and see if they are still available.

Looks like very few parts yards will ship glass, but I did find one for $160 shipped to me. Unfortunately there's no insurance or guarantee for possible damage.

If the car is still up for grabs Sunday I'll order the window and see what happens. I'll be looking for a few other items like a grill and possibly tail light lenses.
